Microsoft Hybrid Learning

As part of the Monash Innovation Guarantee program, our multidisciplinary team partnered with Microsoft to tackle the evolving challenges of hybrid learning in university environments. Over several weeks, we co-developed a concept for a collaborative digital platform designed to enhance group work and real-time engagement within Microsoft’s education ecosystem.

The goal was to move beyond traditional document sharing, enabling live, student-led collaboration for assignments and peer interaction.

Guided by Microsoft mentors and structured around a Google Design Sprint, we applied design thinking methodologies to test, iterate, and refine our user experience direction. The outcome was a university-specialised experience layer focused on connectivity, transparency, and reducing the friction of remote teamwork. This project deepened our understanding of large-scale platform constraints and cross-functional collaboration with industry stakeholders.
